Schools

Counseling Connections of Southwestern PA, LLC can provide counseling and interventions for schools where treatment options are not readily available..

Using a trauma informed treatment approach and combining Evan Imber Blacks larger systems treatment strategies with structural and strategic family counseling, CCSWPA brings a different perspective to the increasingly complex problems that have invaded our schools.

Once considered a safe environment where our children could learn and grow, schools struggle to find answers to social problems that are more and more part of our larger society – violence, rape, bullying, drugs, isolation, suicide, child abuse.

CCSWPA transcends the traditional individual treatment approach to find answers to these problems and transcends turf issues, blame tactics and circle the wagons mentality. CCSWPA enters into collaborative relationships with schools and families together to improve children’s school experience and resolve past traumas.
